Welcome to another Motor Speed News Instagram roundup! In 2016 Yamaha released the XSR900. The bike is part of their new line of “Sport Heritage” motorcycles. The Yamaha XSR900 uses a transverse inline-triple engine (borrowed from the MT-09 also called the FZ-09 in the US) The engine is an 847cc liquid-cooled DOHC inline 3-cylinder 4 stroke engine. It cranks out 115 HP at 10K RPMs.
The bike looks amazing and from other rider’s reviews its even more fun to ride. RyanF9 from FortNine sais you shouldn’t buy the XSR900 because it’s too much motorcycle for your own good. We think that’s the perfect reason to own one!
