This expensive motorcycle is whopping 1.8 million dollars. The Bucherer Blue Edition Harley Davison was on display in the shopping area of Caesars Palace during the 2023 F1 Las Vegas Grand Prix.
I was on my way to get a classic Vegas steak dinner and I noticed a super shiny motorbike in a precious items shop.
I had to stop and see what this creation was.
There was a sign informing viewers about the bike, but it left out one crucial detail. The price!
I had no clue just how costly the motorcycle was as I inspected and marveled at the machine. But I sure am glad I photographed this super expensive motorcycle, one of the most valuable in the world.
Check out these photos:
And this is a video I recorded:
About The Bucherer Blue Harley
The motorcycle was once a standard 2017 Harley Davidson Softail Slim with the Screamin’ Eagle performance package.
The Swiss watch company Bucherer built this incredible work of art with the help of Bündnerbike. The Swiss motorcycle builders at Bündnerbike create custom Harley Davidsons. You can see some of their badass builds here.
The gas tank on this blue showpiece motorcycle features two compartments that display a Bucherer watch and also a Solitaire Heaven ring with a huge 5.40 carat diamond.
Over the entire bike, a total of 360 diamonds are crafted into the Bucherer Harley. That totals up to 32.962 carats.
As for gold, many components (even the screws and bolts) were covered in 24-carat gold.
The seat is hand-sewn cowhide and the paint job is incredible.
The time involved to construct the bike is simply jaw dropping. Bündnerbike spent over 2,500 hours on this. What do you think the hourly rate is on fabrication at an exclusive bespoke Harley shop? Probably not cheap. When you factor in the time and the precious items built into the bike, the price of $1.88 million seems somewhat reasonable.
“Our goal was to make the most exclusive, most expensive Harley-Davidson motorcycle ever made, and we did it”
Patrick Graf, Chief Commercial Officer For Bucherer (revolutionwatch.com)
This is the professional video of the bike from when it debuted in Zurich in 2018:
Why Create Such An Expensive Motorcycle?
Most people don’t have millions hanging around to drop on a motorcycle encrusted with diamonds. You have to have a good reason to build something like it. In this case, the bike elevates the brand image and reputation of Bucherer and those involved.
This bike is a 1 of 1 collectors item and it will likely appreciate in value over time. The rarity, craftsmanship, and unique features will attract investors for years to come. Although to my knowledge the bike is still owned by Bucherer.
There Are Only A Couple More Expensive Motorcycles In The Whole World:
- The Yamaha BMS Chopper: $3 Million
- The Ecosse Spirit : $3.6 Million
- The 1949 E90 AJS Porcupine: $7 Million
- Neiman Marcus Limited Edition Fighter: $11 Million

Final Thoughts
The Harley Davidson Bucherer Blue Edition is a beautiful work of art. But much of the artistic features take away from the utility and capability of the motorcycle.
I am a proud fan of functional art. I think you can find a nice blend of usability and aesthetics in almost all aspects of life. But especially concerning vehicles. This motorcycle will likely spend all of its life on display and never hit the open road. This partly saddens me, but I understand it’s an investment now and the experience is not the ride anymore, but the return on asset.
Bucherer definitely elevated their brand image with this motorcycle, but it doesn’t make me want a luxury watch. I just want a custom Harley Davidson.
Thanks for reading. 👍
