According to average monthly Google searches, the Audi R8 is the most popular supercar in the world. In just one month, people searched for the R8 over 900,000 times.

We didn’t include any concept cars and ensured that all models were road legal. Using Ahrefs.com’s Keyword Explorer Tool, we found the average monthly Google searches for 55 Supercar models.”

#1 Audi R8: 939,870 Searches

The Audi R8 is an all-wheel-drive mid-engine supercar. The concept car (which became the R8) debuted in 2003 as the Audi LeMans Quattro concept car. The first generation R8 came equipped with a 4.2-liter V8 engine. Audi then added a 5.2-liter V10 engine to the lineup. A 2018 Audi R8 retails for about $138,000 (USD).

#2 Bugatti Chiron: 701,140 searches

The Chiron is a supercar made by the French car manufacturer, Bugatti. The car was first introduced in 2016 at the Geneva Motor Show. The Chiron can go from 0–60 (MPH) in just 2.4 seconds. This is due to the 8.0-liter quad-turbo W16 engine. A 2019 Bugatti Chiron retails for just $2,998,000 (USD).

#3 Lamborghini Aventador: 562,770 Searches

The Aventador debuted in 2011 and was created to replace the Lamborghini Murciélago. The Aventador utilizes a 6.5-liter V12 engine and goes from 0–60 (MPH) in 2.9 seconds. The base price for a 2017 Lamborghini Aventador is $393,695 (USD).

#4 Bugatti Veyron: 443,410 searches

The Bugatti Veyron was named after racing driver Pierre Veyron. The car has a blistering top speed of 253 MPH. The Veyron was the fastest street-legal production car in the world until Koenigsegg beat the record in 2017 with the Agera RS.
