The well known American actor from the beloved early 2000’s sitcom, Malcolm In The Middle has launched a new career as a NASCAR driver.
Muniz will race at the infamous Daytona International Speedway starting February 18th 2023 in the ARCA Menards Series. His Ford Mustang race car will sport the number 30 for Rette Jones Racing.
Finally making my dream a reality, this one is for my son and showing him that you can always chase your dreams.

Excited for this opportunity with Rette Jones Racing, Ford, and our partners to go full time racing for an ARCA National Series Championship in 2023. pic.twitter.com/OhbFnlMNKW
Muniz Is An Inspiration For Us All
This is not a new hobby for Muniz. As early as 2006 he was racing in the Formula BMW USA Championship. But in 2009 he experienced a season ending injury which required several surgeries. We are thrilled he is back in the driver’s seat and once again chasing his dream.
Let this be a lesson to us all. Life is short and we should race towards our own goals and dreams, especially if it includes motorsport racing!

Remembering A Classic Sitcom
Malcolm In The Middle is still a hilarious sitcom and has quite the cast of characters. Here is a short video featuring pranks the young boys would pull. It’s worth revisiting the show if you are feeling nostalgic.
If you are curious about what the other actors are up to, you can head over to YouTube and watch this video detailing their current careers. Many people hear about Bryan Cranston and his success with ‘Breaking Bad’, but the other cast members are also alive and well.
Maybe other actors will follow suit and pick up their dream racing careers. It’s not too late for you to start racing either. You can start with kart racing and work your way up!
What do the kids say these days? You only live once!
